CIK / WEBSITE INFORMATION
Privacy & analytics.
How we understand our audience
We count public-page views and use first-party cookies to recognise repeat browser visits. A visitor cookie lasts up to one year; a session cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Changing devices or clearing cookies can result in an additional visitor being counted.
Our private analytics database stores a pseudonymous browser identifier, page path, visit time, IP address, approximate connection country, referral source, and campaign or search terms when they are provided. Only an authenticated CIK administrator can view the visit log. Connection country is an estimate, not nationality, and may reflect a VPN or proxy. We do not store complete referring URLs, form contents or your email address in this analytics database. IP addresses are also processed into keyed rate-limit identifiers to reduce automated abuse.
Analytics records are retained for up to 400 days. Administrator browsing while signed in and known automated crawlers are excluded. Our additional traffic measurement respects the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals sent by your browser.
Google Analytics and your choices
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and traffic sources. For connections from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask before loading Google Analytics or using its cookies. For other connections, including when the location cannot be determined, Google Analytics runs by default without a pop-up unless you have declined analytics or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
You can turn Google Analytics off or change your choice at any time using the button below or the Analytics cookies link in the site footer. A previous decline remains in effect. Declining stops future Google Analytics collection; it does not delete data already collected. Our separate first-party measurement described above continues, subject to your browser privacy signals. Google Analytics preference and identifier cookies last up to six months. Administrators signed in on this hostname are excluded.
We do not send our private IP log, contact form contents, email addresses or personal user IDs to Google Analytics. Google processes connection and device information to provide aggregate reports. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Our local dashboard and GA4 can show different totals because they measure visits differently and Google Analytics respects regional consent requirements and visitor choices.

Community event posts
When you submit an event, your event text, promoter name and contact details are published on the website. Post only contact details you are authorised to make public. Posts remain available until removed by CIK; contact party.in.korea.pik@gmail.com to request a correction or removal. Submission identifiers help prevent duplicate posts. We use time-limited, keyed network identifiers to limit spam.
Hosting and enquiries
The website runs on OpenAI Sites, which also maintains its own hosting and traffic records. Enquiries are delivered through FormSubmit to CIK. These services have their own data practices.
